Welcome to the Winnipesaukee Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution!

We serve the communities of Alton, Brookfield, Ossipee, Tuftonborough, and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Founded on January 17, 1923, by Inez Brewster Wentworth, the Winnipesaukee Chapter is one of twenty-one chapters in the New Hampshire State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Winnipesaukee Chapter meets the second Saturday of September, October, November, December, April, May, and June of each year. Please use the link in the contact us tab for more information about attending a chapter meeting and joining DAR. We look forward to hearing from you!

DAR Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree?

DAR was founded in 1890 with the simple mission of promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. These timeless, overarching principles keep the DAR strong and vitally relevant in this ever-changing world.

This nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education consists of over 185,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the world.
